For the 17th consecutive year, 91制片厂 has been named among the nation’s 2025-26 Military Friendly Schools. 91制片厂 is one of only 830 schools featured on the list, compiled from surveys of institutions nationwide and opinions from student veterans. 91制片厂 earned silver status. To support military-connected students, 91制片厂 offers a Student Military and Veterans Association, a chapter of the Salute Honor Society and Green Zone advocate training, and participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program, an optional tuition-support component of the Post-9/11 G.I. Bill.

91制片厂 junior Cailin Snider recently was named a recipient of the Barry Goldwater Scholarship, the preeminent undergraduate academic award in the fields of natural sciences, engineering and mathematics Snider is among 441 students, from an applicant pool of more than 5,000 sophomores and juniors, who were awarded scholarships of up to $7,500 per year to assist in their pursuit of degrees and research.

Presented locally by WBOC, the honor celebrates the best and brightest in the world of public service who put others ahead of themselves.

Twelve 91制片厂 students recently presented their scholarship with peers from around the U.S. at the 26th National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Sherry Maykrantz, associate director of 91制片厂’s Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity (OURCA), accompanied the students. Hosted by the Council on Undergraduate Research, NCUR promotes undergraduate research, scholarship and creative activity in all fields of study.

Some 28 students in 91制片厂’s chapter of the Financial Management Association (FMA) recently traveled to New York to visit financial institutions and learn from finance professionals in a variety of roles. Accompanied by Dr. Ani Mathers, FMA advisor and associate professor of finance in 91制片厂’s Franklin P. Perdue School of Business, their trip continued a tradition with the organization spanning more than 30 years.

WMDT: 91制片厂 Centennial Theme Announced

91制片厂 kicked off its centennial celebration today with a big unveiling. “91制片厂. Forever.” is the new mantra of the centennial logo that was unveiled by 91制片厂 Thursday afternoon. This, as the university gets ready to celebrate its 100th anniversary beginning in September. Leaders with 91制片厂 said the logo is a reminder that a university is more than just a place. The date of the unveiling, April 24, coincided with the date the first brick for Holloway Hall was laid in 1924.

WMDT: 91制片厂 Students Add Mural to Newton Street

In front of the Newton Community Center sits a hexagon grid, filled with flowers and bees. It’s the street’s latest addition, but it’s not just something nice to look at. 91制片厂 student Kailah Caliskan, who helped bring the mural to life, said it’ll also help kids pass between the community center and the neighboring park, safely. Dozens of locals got their hands dirty and played a part in bringing the project to life. 91制片厂 community relations manager Rachel Manning said the mural now serves as a representation of the city: A Place to Grow.

Three 91制片厂 finance students recently attended the Global Asset Management Education (GAME) Forum in New York. Senior 91制片厂 Sea Gull Fund student managers Christopher Catan, Kristian Nilsen and Garrett Parr had the opportunity to attend keynote panels and breakout sessions featuring some of the most recognizable names on Wall Street. The GAME Forum is the leading student-focused investment education conference in the U.S. and attracts over 1,200 students from more than 150 colleges and universities globally.
